Canada Geese on the Angus Creek Estuary
|
Two kilometres
of very well-maintained, level trails are provided in Porpoise Bay
Provincial Park in Sechelt on the Sunshine Coast.
The trail system of easy walks centres on Angus Creek, which flows
through the park.
The main trail leads to the estuary, which affords excellent views
of Sechelt Inlet and the waterfowl inhabiting the estuary.
Other trails
in the park wind beneath large fir, cedar, hemlock and maple trees.
In late fall there is a large salmon spawn here, with fish viewing
being a major attraction.
